Create a new checkpoint for your responsibility by importing detailed steps and images directly from a Scribe knowledge article. This keeps all your process documentation in one place and ensures teams have the information they need.

Add a checkpoint and import a Scribe article

1

Add a checkpoint

Click Add Checkpoint in your responsibility section.
2

Name the checkpoint

Name your checkpoint, for example, “can correctly link retainer payments.” Set the type to Knowledge Article.
3

Choose Import from Scribe

Select Import from Scribe.
4

Paste your Scribe link

Copy the Scribe article link. Paste the link into the import field and start the import.
5

Wait for the import to finish

Wait for the import to finish. The Scribe content, complete with images, appears in your checkpoint.
You now have a checkpoint populated with step-by-step instructions and screenshots from Scribe. This keeps your processes clear, visually rich, and easy for your team to follow.

Before you import

  • The Scribe link must be a public share link. If the guide is private, make it public in Scribe, then try again.
  • The imported content appears as an unsaved draft. Click Save to keep it. See Editing an article.
  • If the article already has content, importing replaces it. exIQtive asks you to confirm first.

Editing an article

Write and format a checkpoint’s article.
