A Coach is a Proficient badge holder who has been trained and certified by an Architect to inspect other employees on the same responsibility. The Coach badge sits at 125% Readiness: above Novice, Apprentice, and Proficient, and below Architect.

What a Coach does

Once certified, a Coach can conduct inspections and issue Apprentice and Proficient badges to others. They evaluate each employee’s knowledge, abilities, and behavior (KAB) against the standards the Architect has defined in the inspection protocol.

Coach is per responsibility

Badges are held per responsibility, not per person. The same employee can be a Coach for one responsibility while holding a lower badge, like Proficient or Apprentice, for others.
