A Co-Owner is one of the three Account Roles in exIQtive, just below Owner and above Administrator. A Co-Owner has full administrative access to the account, including Settings and user management. Unlike Owner, an account can have several Co-Owners at once.

What a Co-Owner can do

What sets a Co-Owner apart from an Administrator is Settings and user management. A Co-Owner can:
  • Access Settings and manage account configuration
  • Give access to new users
  • Suspend or restore access
  • Change email addresses
  • Add or remove other Co-Owners and Administrators
A Co-Owner can suspend or restore Administrators and users with no admin permission, but can’t suspend another Co-Owner. A Co-Owner can change their own email address, but not another Co-Owner’s.

What a Co-Owner can’t do

Transferring ownership is reserved for the Owner. To close an account, please contact support@exiqtive.com.

Co-Owner vs Personas

Account Roles are separate from Personas, so a Co-Owner doesn’t need to be an Employee at all. An external consultant can administer the account as a Co-Owner without holding any Position in the organization.
