# Personas

> The exIQtive personas (Employee, Coach, Architect) and how they differ from account roles like Owner, Co-Owner, and Administrator.

exIQtive has two independent ways of describing people: **personas**, which describe how someone works day to day, and **account roles**, which describe administrative access to the account. This page covers both.

## Employees with access

Employees who have access to exIQtive see the **Your Stuff** menu, which can include:

* **As Employee**
* **As a Coach**
* **As an Architect**

Which views you see depends on the badges you currently hold.

## Employee

**As Employee** is your personal readiness workspace. It shows:

* What you're responsible for
* How ready you are to perform your work
* What to prepare next
* Which Coaches can inspect you
* What badge level you currently hold

### Your readiness

At the top of the page is your **overall readiness percentage**, a real-time indicator of how prepared you are across all your responsibilities.

### Your responsibilities

Your responsibilities are listed in priority order, from highest impact on your readiness to lowest. Each one shows:

* The responsibility you're accountable for
* Your current badge level
* Your inspection progress
* A **Prepare** button to help you get ready for the next level

## Coach

A Coach holds current Coach badges and can inspect employees on those responsibilities. Coaches see the employees they're authorized to coach under **Your Stuff → As a Coach**. See [What is a Coach?](/coaching/what-is-a-coach) for the full role definition.

<Note>
  A Coach can inspect only employees who don't already hold a Coach or Architect badge for the same responsibility.
</Note>

Each responsibility should ideally be supported by at least two Coaches. A common way to get there is for the Architect to also serve as a Coach and train at least one additional Coach.

## Architect

An Architect is the subject matter expert for a responsibility. Architects see the responsibilities they manage under **Your Stuff → As an Architect**. See [What is an Architect?](/coaching/what-is-an-architect) for the full role definition.

## Account roles

The personas above describe how someone works. **Account roles** describe administrative access to the account itself. The two are independent. See [Account roles and permissions](/account/roles-and-permissions) for the full comparison.

### Owner

The Owner created the account or received ownership by transfer. Every account has exactly one Owner, and only the Owner can transfer ownership. See [What is an Account Owner?](/account/account-owner)

### Co-Owner

A Co-Owner has full administrative access, including Settings and user management, but can't transfer ownership. An account can have multiple Co-Owners. See [What is a Co-Owner?](/account/co-owner)

### Administrator

An Administrator can access and operate all day-to-day modules (Organization, Readiness, All Tasks, and more) but can't access Settings or manage account users. See [What is an Administrator?](/account/administrator)
